Different symptoms, different fixes.
Not every screen problem needs a new panel. Some issues are cable-related and much cheaper to fix. Free diagnosis identifies the actual cause before we quote.
Cracked or broken glass
Physical impact damage. Almost always needs panel replacement. Standard laptops ₹3,500-7,500, touchscreens and premium panels higher.
Vertical / horizontal lines
Panel damage — usually from impact or manufacturing defect. Not repairable — panel replacement required.
Flickering display
Could be loose display cable (₹800-2,000 to reseat/replace) or failing panel. Diagnosis identifies which.
Dim / dark screen
Backlight failure. On most laptops, this is board-level repair. On MacBook Pro, often a specific backlight IC — see motherboard repair.
Dead pixels / patches
Individual dead pixels sometimes revive with software. Large dead patches require panel replacement.
Touchscreen not responding
Could be digitizer failure (physical replacement needed), driver issue (software fix), or damaged cable (moderate fix).
Original OEM or equivalent — your call.
Original OEM panels
Genuine panels from the laptop's original manufacturer. Best colour accuracy match, guaranteed compatibility, brand warranty. Higher cost — usually 40-80% more than equivalents. Recommended for premium laptops, colour-critical work (design studios, photography), or when the price difference is small.
OEM-equivalent panels
Same panel models from the same panel manufacturers (Samsung, LG Display, BOE, AUO) but sold in the aftermarket without the laptop brand sticker. Functionally identical to originals. Significantly cheaper. Standard for most repairs where cost is a factor. 6-month workshop warranty from us.
